Here is an overview of the game, via Giant Light Studios:
About
Blending Minesweeper-inspired deduction, push-your-luck mechanics, and roguelike deckbuilding, Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game traps players in a twisted corporate office, where they are forced to play by a smiling puppet host who insists everything is under control.
A Partnership Built for Horror
With Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind globally recognized horror experiences such as Dead by Daylight and 7 Days to Die, joining as publisher, Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game strengthens its connection to a large and dedicated horror audience.
Together with Gambit Digital, the team is preparing to bring the game to players with expanded visibility and support throughout development and into launch.
A Harmless Game
Each run revolves around flipping cards to generate money and multipliers while using hints to deduce the location of dangerous JERRY cards. Push your luck too far, and the run collapses.
Stack the deck in your favor, exploit strange synergies, and make your quota before closing time… or else.
Runs are short, decisions are risky, and every card flip is a calculated gamble as players climb the corporate ladder. The further they progress, the stranger the office becomes.
Between runs, players can explore the workplace, uncover fragments of the company’s disturbing history, and slowly understand why Mr. Magpie seems so invested in the outcome.
