Dark fantasy roguelite dice-builder GrimKeep will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on November 30 for $14.99, developer Resolution Games announced. A PC demo is available now through the end of Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition, which runs from October 19 to 26.
“GrimKeep has been a passion project for a couple of us here at Resolution Games for the last couple of years,” said game director David Filipe in a press release. “What started as an idea from a fun internal gameplay share event has morphed into a dark fantasy that can be as casual or hardcore as you want it to be. We can’t wait to see what players come up with during the demo and at launch.”
The demo features the Outskirts region, three playable heroes, and persistent upgrades that carry between journeys. The full game will feature multiple regions, seven playable heroes, over 200 items, 60 monsters, 30 hero skills, and more.

GrimKeep‘s Innovative Roguelite Experience
GrimKeep takes the familiar build-crafting obsession of a roguelite deckbuilder and swaps the deck for a bag of dice. Find items, add and upgrade dice, cut the ones hurting your odds, and combine your rolls into poker-style combos that hit harder and harder as your build comes together. All of it serves one goal: fight through a cursed city and reach the castle at its heart. There, the Princess waits. Spoiler alert: You are not going there to save her.
Every GrimKeep run is a self-contained, turn-based descent lasting anywhere from the time it would take for a quick coffee break to filling a full one-to-three-hour evening of fun, depending all on how you play your dice. During which players assemble a build, discover unexpected synergies and push your luck as far as your skills dare.
GrimKeep Launches November 30
At launch, GrimKeep will feature seven playable heroes, seven dice types, 30 unlockable hero skills, more than 200 items and more than 60 unique monsters, all presented in a hand-drawn 2D world where dark fantasy collides with Lovecraftian horror. The available demo features a portion of the full game.
The full GrimKeep game will be available on Nov. 30 for $14.99USD on Steam for Windows, macOS and SteamOS/Linux, and on PlayStation 5. Players can experience the game for the first time now and during Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition from October 19 to 26 and can wishlist GrimKeep now on Steam.
GrimKeep is being developed by a small team at Resolution Games (you can read a bit more about the team here), the studio behind Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, Demeo, Spatial Ops, Angry Birds VR, Blaston, Bait!, and Racket Club.
