Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime delayed to 2028
Mayumi Saco and Shinya Fukumatsu join the cast.
The anime series based on the Sucker Punch Productions-developed PlayStation game Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, which was previously planned to debut in 2027, which will now premiere on Crunchyroll in 2028, Aniplex and Crunchyroll announced.
Mayumi Saco and Shinya Fukumatsu will join the cast of the show in undisclosed role. Saco previously voiced Tomoe in the original game, while while Fukumatsu is known for portraying Bomb in One-Punch Man.
The anime is being directed by Takanobu Mizuno at studio Kamikaze Douga, with Gen Urobuchi writing the story composition and co-writing the script with Renji Oki.

New staff members include composer Keiji Inai, sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami, sound editor Yasumasa Koyama, and title calligraphy artist Gyousyou Suzuki.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is produced by HAYATE in collaboration with Aniplex and PlayStation Productions, with Sony Music serving as music and soundtrack partner.
