Side-scrolling precision platformer Croak will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in March 2027, developer WoodRunner Games announced. The Xbox Series and Microsoft Store versions are newly announced. It will also be available via Game Pass.

Once upon a time, there was a magnificent kingdom that got cursed, and a prince turned into a frog. With art and animation from some of the talents behind Cuphead and the Rick and Morty show, Croak is a fractured fairy tale with a cast of quirky, lovable characters.
Croak is a nimble and challenging precision platformer featuring an innovative grapple mechanic. Use the prince’s tongue to dash and bounce around through hundreds of hand-crafted rooms. Manipulate the environment as you traverse distinct biomes, each with unique gameplay mechanics and bosses.
