Arc System Works to establish Arc System Works Tokyo Studio “Takumi”

New studio to dramatically bolster Arc System Works' overall development capabilities.

Arc System Works has announced that it will establish a new development studio, Arc System Works Tokyo Studio “Takumi”, on November 2, 2026. The studio will be located in Urban Center Shinjuku at 2-5-10 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.

The new studio is being established to dramatically bolster Arc System Works’ overall development capabilities, including the development of a new fighting game selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry’s (METI) “IP360” project, an initiative which provides large-scale, long-term, and strategic support to achieve the goal of increasing overseas sales of Japanese content to 20 trillion yen by 2033.

Positioned as a strategic keystone to deliver “ultimate excitement” to players worldwide beyond standard development frameworks, the studio is envisioned to serve not only as a production base, but as a powerful “outbound collaboration hub” for global outreach.

In conjunction with the studio opening, Arc System Works is significantly ramping up recruitment for creators to join as founding members. For details on available positions, visit the company’s recruitment page.
