Roguelite pinball shooter Appulse will launch for PC via Steam on November 26, publisher Raw Fury and developer Le Rado announced. A demo is now available.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
A brand-new genre blend of roguelite action, top-down shooter, and pinball. Master the use of flippers and recoil with precision, craft your own build, and climb the scoreboard in a vibrant intergalactic war.
Roguelite Shooter
Dive into this intense roguelite shooter that puts a unique twist into classic pinball mechanics.Your mission is to defend the fleet of Vektor Dynamics, but guns are not the only thing giving you the edge. Special perks earned during your adventure will power up your ball. Need more recoil when firing? To ram your enemies with increased close-range strength? Or maybe the ability to slow down time to create a flawless combo move? Try multiple options until you create the perfect build!
Master Every Shot
You think this is “just pinball”? Well… think again.
In Appulse, the twist is the added recoil when firing your guns. Each shot will push you in the opposite direction, allowing you to control the ball after using the flippers. There’s no luck involved, only your skills: Learn how to leverage every part of the board, get rewards, and you will be able to go anywhere you want… including the top of the leaderboard, of course.
Space Action
In a classic space-opera style, you will be able to explore and expand your fleet. Charge on enemy ships using your ejection cannon. Challenges and special quests await you in those unknown territories: Conquer new shuttles to win the war against the Iron Accord. On to glory, T1LT-UNIT!
