Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku for Switch launches October 29

The Switch version of Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku will launch on October 29, developer JETMAN announced.

Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku is based on Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku, which was released for PlayStation VR on October 26, 2017 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 4 (flatscreen) via a free update on December 21, 2017.

It is the ultimate “strolling game”—a reimagining the worldview of the 1997 classic Kowloon’s Gate.

Set as a prequel to Kowloon’s Gate, you can wander through the maze-like alleys of Kowloon Walled City and take in the atmosphere of a city submerged in memory—from angles and locations never before seen in the original game.

Your objective is to use photos from an album you’ve found as clues to track down those exact locations and bring back memories through “psychography” (thoughtography).

Familiar faces await you in these iconic places, now rendered in even higher definition.
