I Am Your Beast coming to Switch 2, Switch on October 20 alongside story DLC ‘Quitting Time’
New prequel story due out first for PC, later for consoles.
Strange Scaffold will release revenge thriller first-person shooter I Am Your Beast for Switch 2 and Switch on October 20, the developer announced. On the same day, a new story downloadable content, “Quitting Time,” will launch for the PC version of the game, followed by consoles at a later date.
I Am Your Beast first launched for Steam, GOG, and itch.io on September 10, 2024, followed by iOS via App Store on February 18, 2025, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on June 25, 2025.
“Years after its launch, we are still seeing thousands of people fall in love with I Am Your Beast every month,” said Strange Scaffold founder Xalavier Nelson Jr. in a press release. “It’s a true joy leaping back into that sandbox and giving our players even more levels—and tools—to play with.”

Set in Southeast Asia, “Quitting Time” is a full story prequel to the hit indie game, following Alphonse Harding before the events of I Am Your Beast.
Covert agent Alphonse Harding is a true believer in the power structures of the American military-industrial complex. He believes Colonel Charles Burkin, his handler, has his best interests at heart. He believes fighting a shadow war against a rival of the COI—the Patriotic Defense League—will make the world a better place.
He will be proven wrong.
