Independent developer CornflowerBlue has announced Lightspeed Lina, a fast-paced 3D action adventure platformer coming to PC via Steam. A Kickstarter campaign seeking $45,000 in funding launched today alongside the game’s announcement.

Lightspeed Lina is a blazing-fast action adventure 3D platformer where you fight, fly, and flaunt your way through loops, towns, and bosses in search of new powers. Equipped with a pair of special boots, help Lina search for treasure and blast through a chain of unique islands leaving nothing but trails of light behind… and maybe do a little shopping too!

Story
The story begins when heart-shaped gems (the locals call Comets) begin to fall to the surface of the Ephemera Isles after a spaceship is shot down. Ex-thief turned treasure hunter; Lina “Lightspeed” Lockett arrives to turn a profit selling them, but she gets more than she bargained for when a pink alien and her old master show up.
