Stranded Deep 2 debut trailer, screenshots
Survival sandbox sequel set for an Early Access release.
Publisher North Beach Games and developer North Beach Games Prague have released the reveal trailer and first screenshots for Stranded Deep 2, which was first announced in August 2024.
The game is led by Stranded Deep co-creator Sam Edwards, who serves as creative director, and expands upon the survival sandbox experience in a new desert wilderness setting. It is planned for an Early Access release on PC via Steam.

About
Stranded Deep 2 is the next installment in the series, plunging you into a beautiful but dangerous desert wilderness. Stranded. Alone. No rescue is coming. An endless river carves through a world bursting with life, danger, and discovery. The desert doesn’t care if you survive. You must earn the right to be here. And you will. Every tool, every discovery, every step further into the frontier is the result of surviving long enough and venturing far enough to reach it. As you explore deeper you realize there’s more to the desert than simply surviving.

- Explore an Endless River World – The river carves through canyons, dunes, and valleys, connecting a vast desert landscape filled with hand-crafted locations. Navigate rapids and treacherous waters with your kayak or raft. Every world is different. No two journeys are the same.
- Build a Home, Take It With You – Scavenge resources, craft tools, and build a floating home on the river. Pack up and move to the next stretch or settle on the banks. Everything you build can come with you.
- Stay Alive! – Nature is the enemy. Manage your health, hunger, thirst, and exposure to survive another day. Danger is recognizable if you know what to look for. A distant growl, tracks in the sand, fast moving water. Pay attention and you’ll stay alive.
- Leave Your Mark In a Living World – Animals roam, hunt, and follow a real food chain. You’re part of it, and you’re not at the top. Dig into the terrain to reshape the landscape or redirect the river. The world reacts to what you do.
- Make It Yours – Everything you make is shaped by the resources you find. Choose the materials to use for each part of your tools. Build your structures the same way. Upgrade and customize your gear as you discover better materials.
- Create Your Own World – The revamped Cartographer editor lets you create your own locations and experiences to add to your world, and share with friends on any platform.
Stranded Deep 2 is built on a decade of community feedback and is designed to grow. Regular content updates will add new biomes, locations, wildlife, and crafting to create a world that gets richer over time, giving you more reasons to explore.
