Pokemon Bank to end service on February 26, 2027; Pokemon HOME to add Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Version support in October

Pokemon Bank, the 3DS service that allows users to store Pokemon in online cloud storage, will end service on February 26, 2027, The Pokemon Company announced. Pokemon HOME, the more recent Pokemon cloud storage service available for Switch, iOS, and Android, will continue to be available, as well as add Pokemon FireRed Version and Pokemon LeafGreen Version connectivity in October.

After service for Pokemon Bank ends on February 26, 2027, the ability to transfer Pokemon between Pokemon Bank and Pokemon HOME will no longer be available, so it is advised that users transfer their Pokemon before service ends.
