Aniplex will publish Fate/EXTRA remake Fate/EXTRA Record, TYPE-MOON and TYPE-MOON studio BB announced.
The announcement comes after TYPE-MOON announced back in March that Bandai Namco Entertainment would no longer publish the game.
TYPE-MOON also said that some changes have been made to the overall development structure of Fate/EXTRA Record, as well as the organizational structure within developer TYPE-MOON studio BB.
The staff credits on the new official website, which is scheduled to launch in the future, as well as other materials, will be updated to reflect these changes.
The current Fate/EXTRA Record official website and Twitter account will close on September 7 at 17:00 JST.
Fate/EXTRA Record has been announced for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Update: Fate/EXTRA Record director Kazuya Niino has announced that he has resigned from his position at TYPE-MOON studio bb for personal reasons and stepped down as director of the game. He has also requested that his name be removed from the game’s staff credits. Niino further added that he will be taking a break from game development due to health concerns.
