DragonSword: Awakening console porting to begin on PS5
Xbox is "lower priority" and Switch 2 is "to be determined."
Console porting for action RPG DragonSword: Awakening will begin on PlayStation 5, developer HOUND13 announced.
While HOUND13 previously said a Nintendo version is planned, the developer now said that the timeline for a Switch 2 version is “to be determined” after considering various factors.
HOUND13 also said an Xbox version is “lower priority and won’t happen in the short term.”

- What’s the plan for console (PlayStation 5, Xbox) ports?
- Platform ports start with PlayStation 5, which has more users. Xbox is lower priority and won’t happen in the short term.
- Are there more plans for controller vibration support?
- No additional plans currently. Other work has higher focus.
- When will Nintendo Switch 2 version release?
- Interest was registered but requires Nintendo developer status, Unreal Engine 5 porting, and Lotcheck certification. Timeline is to be determined.
- Will Steam Deck get official support?
- Steam Deck compatibility improvements are ongoing including recent cooking cooldown fixes.
- Are there plans for macOS or Linux support?
- Not planned currently. Steam Deck via Proton is supported.
- Will there be mobile companion apps?
- Companion apps aren’t planned currently.
- Can we get cloud save support?
- Steam Cloud save is supported.
- Are there plans for touchscreen support?
- Steam Deck touch support is being reviewed.
