Australia-based Monomyth Games has announced Photo Roboto: A Timesnap Adventure, a cozy photo adventure game that utilizes a Timewarp Camera that can snap the present, past, future, and more. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2027.
“It’s been a long and exploratory journey to reach this point,” said Monomyth Games co-founder Tristram Geary in a press release. “Photo Roboto is completely different to our previous game in almost every way imaginable: genre, tone, gameplay. We’ve had to evolve and rebuild our whole approach to game design, and we can’t wait for players to explore the island of Pallacanezza for themselves.”

About
Photo Roboto: A Timesnap Adventure is a cozy photo adventure game in which you run a photography business with a twist: your primary tool is a Timewarp Camera that can snap the present, past, future, and more.
You play as Peppino, a little robot who dreams of earning his Timewarp Camera License to become a master photographer. Set up shop on a vibrant Italian island with your best friends, Sophia and Marco, and build up a thriving business. Stroll, run, jump, and boat around the island to track down customers and take on photo jobs, all while keeping your star rating high.
However, when the mayor closes the island due to a mysterious “Curse,” your business—and the island itself—are at risk! Help solve the Curse and reopen the island to visitors for the big tourist summer ahead. Meanwhile, a cast of eccentric islanders also need your help. Fulfil their requests and solve their problems—which often require inventive solutions.
As you progress, you’ll collect new camera lenses to unlock crazy new abilities, earn customizations for your shop and yourself, and uncover the island’s secrets.
