Resident Evil Veronica announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC

Capcom has announced a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2027.

Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of the beloved classic Resident Evil Code: Veronica, was announced for release in 2027 at Summer Game Fest! The next chapter in the iconic Resident Evil survival horror series features the return of fan-favorite heroine Claire Redfield and will release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.
