Gears of War: E-Day will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on October 6, publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer The Coalition announced. It will also be available via Game Pass.
While a PlayStation 5 version was recently rated by Pan European Game Information, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma announced that it will launch as an “Xbox console exclusive.” Last night, Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb said this was a decision that was “just got made.”
Pre-orders include early access to the open beta on August 6, and unlock the Exfil Dom Character Skin and the Exfil Weapon Skin Set in-game at launch.
