Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II, the upcoming anime set in the dystopian metropolis of Cyberpunk 2077‘s Night City, will premiere this fall on Netflix, CD Projekt RED announced.
The series follows an entirely new cast of characters and tells a standalone story that explores the city’s darkest corners, diving deep into what it means to be an edgerunner.
The series is directed by Kai Ikarashi, with character designs by Ichigo Kanno and a story written by Bartosz Sztybor of CD Projekt RED and Masahiko Otsuka.
The main promotional artwork for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II was created by Ichigo Kanno (original illustration), Yukiko Kakita (ink and color supervision), and Yuichiroh Tozawa (composition).
The song featured in the latest teaser trailer, “You Can’t Run From Me” by Rico Nasty, is now available to stream on all major music platforms.
A Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II panel will be held at Anime Expo 2026 on July 3, where attendees will get a first look at the series’ premiere episode during an exclusive screening that will not be recorded or streamed. The panel will feature showrunner Bartosz Sztybor, executive producer Saya Elder, and director Kai Ikarashi, as well as voice actor Nazeeh Tarsha, who portrays D in the anime. Content creator Danny Motta will host.
