Abyssus for PS5, Xbox Series launches June 25 alongside version 1.3 update

Brinepunk cooperative first-person shooter Abyssus will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on June 25 alongside the game’s version 1.3 update, publisher The Arcade Crew and developer DoubleMoose announced. A physical “Brine Edition,” including the base game and four cosmetic downloadable contents, will also be available for PlayStation 5 via distributor Silver Lining Interactive.

Abyssus first launched for PC via Steam on August 12, 2025.

In Abyssus, players become brinepunk explorers diving into the sunken ruins of an ancient civilization. The goal is simple: claim a massive deposit of brine, a rare and powerful substance.
