Toei Games announces first three published titles – KILLA, HINO, and DEBUG NEPHEMEE
Games by talented creators from Japan and abroad.
Following the announcement of its establishment last week, Toei Games has announced the first three games it plans to publish—KILLA from Black Tangerine, HINO from UnGloomStudio, and DEBUG NEPHEMEE from Nephemee Studio.
“‘Story’ to Toei does not mean plotline,” the company said in a press release. “It is the summation of captivating characters and a world view that overwhelms the audience. Anything that has a strong and distinctive presence, falls within our definition of ‘story.’ Please enjoy this lineup of completely new and original works, brought to you by Toei in collaboration with talented creators from Japan and abroad.”

KILLA is a 3D adventure mystery with multiple endings. Valhalla, our protagonist, seeks the killer of her mentor, a mentor she treasures like family, venturing to an unknown island. Discover the culprit on this enigmatic island and embark on a journey of revenge.
Set in a nightmarish, dark, and fantastical puppet show world, KILLA is a mystery adventure. The player must use their “resonance” ability to delve into the suspects’ memories and piece together fragments of dreams to weave together the truth.

DEBUG NEPHEMEE is a top-down 2D adventure game set in a place called “Nepherum.”
Here, the world is infested with bugs who inhabit creatures called Nephemees.
Through a unique battle system based on each Nephemees values and philosophies, you will attack and hack opponents to find traces of their personalities and memories.
Encounter a colorful cast of characters and get to know them deeply, as you embark on a journey to “Debug” the world.
