
Side-scrolling roguelite beat ’em up game Lost Castle 2 will leave Early Access and launch for PC via Steam on June 11, developer Hunter Studio announced.
Lost Castle 2 first launched in Early Access on July 24, 2024.
The version 1.0 update will add the following core features:
- Final Story Ending – The narrative of Lost Castle 2 reaches its climactic conclusion.
- Ethereal Nightmare Difficulty 4 and 5 – New ultra‑challenging endgame modes for hardcore players.
- Third Layer Inscription Resonance – Long‑awaited system expansion enabling deeper, more powerful build crafting.
- Full Progression Overhaul – All out‑of‑match systems reworked and rebalanced based on one year of Early Access feedback.
- Complete Content Package – Every weapon, treasure, armor set, and secret introduced during Early Access included at launch.
The “Hidden Mage Tower” update is also now available for the Early Access version. It includes:
- A new secret level.
- New bosses.
- Rebalanced single‑handed weapons.
- A revamped story unlock system.
- Serves as a bridge between Early Access and the full release
