Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Early Access ‘Greed & Glory’ update now available
New combat path, weapons, wave-based challenge, and more.
Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Digital Sun have released the “Greed & Glory” update for the Early Access version of roguelike action RPG sequel Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, which adds a new combat path, weapons, wave-based challenge, and more.
Here are the details:
The headline addition is HEX—a brand new combat path that lets players curse enemies, dealing delayed damage that spreads to other foes. Powerful on its own, and even more so when combined with existing paths such as Thunder, already a favorite among early players, it’s a refreshing way to approach dungeon runs.
Among the new pieces of equipment players can acquire, one in particular will enrich Will’s combat prowess; the Blo-Blitz dual guns bring a fast, satisfying playstyle for those who like to keep moving. Those wanting to get their hands on it should hurry to unlock the crafting recipe by completing a special quest.
The update has “new content” written all over it. Twenty new combat rooms, expanded perk sets from Nou, Anacard, and Sliver, new build synergies at Andrei’s, and around ten new shop cosmetics all add up to a tangibly expanded experience. The Witch’s new skill tree improves survivability on runs, K33P3R’s expanded skill tree brings more shop utility, and the 5th Key Narrative continues the Endless Vault challenge thread for those brave adventurers who’ve conquered the 4th.
Meanwhile, the Greed Colosseum is a new wave-based challenge mode where each biome brings its own enemies and mini-bosses across escalating rounds. No less important is a quiet but meaningful tuning of relic prices, economy balance, and overall progression. Ongoing work makes the gold scale better and the upgrades feel earned, all to bring Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault closer to its full merchant-RPG potential ahead of the 1.0 release.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is currently in Early Access for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and is planned for a full release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC later in 2026.
