Super Spin Digital has announced Ligmanauts, a “physics-driven multiplayer platformer that channels the raw energy of early 2000s gaming culture.” It will launch for PC via Steam in Q3 2026 for $4.99.
“We were just messing around with multiplayer physics and found ourselves playing together for hours—that’s when we knew we had something,” said Super Spin Digital co-founder Shath Maguire in a press release. “It’s like reliving those couch co-op sessions from the early 2000s where you’d take turns passing the controller, except everyone can play at once and someone’s always screwing up.”
Here is an overview of the game, via Super Spin Digital:
Ligmanauts is a physics-driven multiplayer platformer that channels the raw energy of early 2000s gaming culture from developer Super Spin Digital. Designed from the ground up for voice chat chaos, the game brings nostalgic 3D platforming to modern social play.
Swing, bounce, and launch your ‘Nauts through physics-driven platforming challenges while an original liquid drum and bass soundtrack sets the pace. Coordinate with up to seven friends in eight-player multiplayer as you navigate levels designed for creative solutions and shared chaos.
In one challenge, players must coordinate to swing each other across gaps—calling out timing as physics sends plans hilariously sideways. Simple goals turn into messy, memorable moments as plans fall apart, or just mess around in playgrounds where the physics themselves are the fun.
