Natsume Atari to change name to Winning Entertainment Group on January 1, 2026
Tengo Project parent marks a fresh chapter.
Natsume Atari, the parent company of Tengo Project, will change its name to Winning Entertainment Group on January 1, 2026, the company announced.
The company provided the following reasoning for the name change:
We started our journey as Natsume in 1987, developing video games for home consoles.
Atari was founded in 2002 as a developer of pachinko and pachislot amusement games.
The two companies merged to form NatsumeAtari in 2013, expanding our business across both video game and pachinko/pachislot game development.
To mark a fresh chapter, starting January 2026 we will retire the “Natsume” and “Atari” names and step forward as: “Winning Entertainment Group Inc.”
This change represents our commitment and ambition to grow as a leading global entertainment company.
