Lunacy Studios has announced The House of Hikmah, a fully voiced narrative-driven 3D adventure game exploring grief, legacy, and the search for purpose after profound loss. It will launch for PC via Steam in Q1 2026.
The game’s development staff includes veterans who have worked on well-known franchises, including a senior level designer for Star Wars: Battlefront, Mass Effect, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood; acomposer for Journey, Sword of the Sea, and The Pathless, a programmer for Life is Strange; and more.
“We’re endeavoring to create an emotionally resonant narrative that players can connect with on a deep and personal level,” said creative director Faris Attieh in a press release. “We’re excited to bring some of the insightful teachings of the Islamic Golden Age to Western audiences.”
