Survival city builder DarkSwitch will launch for PC via Steam and GOG on March 12, 2026, developer Cyber Temple announced. A two-hour prologue demo is now available via Steam.

About
At its core, DarkSwitch is a vertical survival city builder set atop a colossal tree, high above the lethal fog that has consumed civilization and threatens the city’s very own existence. While players continue to develop their settlement, story-driven quests, time-sensitive expeditions, and dynamic fog surges can shift entire strategies in a moment.
The main antagonist is an enigmatic fog, which impacts citizens’ health and morale, and is modeled using custom voxel grid technology, creating dynamic and unpredictable fog shifts. A once-thriving society faced a life-threatening enemy when this mysterious mist swept across the lands, warping their minds and consuming everything. In a desperate attempt for survival, those who still stood fled upwards towards the treetops, and rebuilt their homes above the deadly haze. The game’s heavy atmosphere is paired with ambisonic audio cues that intensify the sense of dread, all woven together by the haunting compositions of legendary musician Akira Yamaoka.
