The Switch 2 and Switch versions of The Rogue Prince of Persia will launch on December 16, publisher Ubisoft and developer Evil Empire announced.
Additionally, publishing partner U&I Entertainment announced that physical standard and “Immortal” editions of The Rogue Prince of Persia will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2 on April 10, 2026. The Immortal Edition includes the game (a game-key card on Switch 2), a SteelBook case, a double-sided poster, and a set of fine art cards featuring imagery from the game on one side, with the reverse sides combining to form part of the game world map. Pre-orders for both editions will open on November 14.
“We’re thrilled to bring The Rogue Prince of Persia to Nintendo Switch players,” said Evil Empire game director Lucie Dewagnier in a press release. “The game’s fast-paced action and replayability make it a perfect fit for hybrid play. We can’t wait to see players dive into the Prince’s journey on the go.”
The Rogue Prince of Persia first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on May 27, 2024, followed by a full release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store on August 20, 2025. It is also available via the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Game Pass.
