Publisher Entergram and developer KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO have announced Virtual Ties: Isekaijoucho Musoukyoku, a virtual idol training adventure coming to PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on March 19, 2026. It will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
In Japan, the game will be priced at 3,600 yen (3,960 yen with tax) for the digital edition, or 4,500 yen (4,950 yen with tax) for the Switch-only physical standard edition. A limited physical edition will also be available for Switch and PC (Steam download code) for 9,000 yen (9,900 yen with tax).
Virtual Ties: Isekaijoucho Musoukyoku builds off the concept of project Canvas: Isekaijoucho Ikusei Keikaku, a training adventure game released for free for PC via Steam as an April Fools’ Day project in 2024.
The game follows protagonist Yuu Kirishima, who produces childhood friend Sekai Minase as the real-life virtual idol Isekaijoucho, who was both involved in the game’s planning and stars as its lead voice actor. Players will aim to make Isekaijoucho a top virtual idol by managing areas like vocals, dancing, talk show appearances, and so on, as well as increasing followers through streaming.
