The September 2024-announced Raiden Fighters Remix Collection will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on February 26, 2026 in Japan, MOSS announced. Pre-orders are now available at retailers such as Amazon Japan, Biccamera, and Yodobashi.
The game will be cost 6,028 yen for the standard edition and 12,980 yen for the Special Edition. The latter includes a three-disc soundtrack, three reversible cover arts, three acrylic stands, and a strategy pamphlet reprint.
The collection will feature the Japanese and western versions of Raiden spin-offs Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive, and Raiden Fighters Jet, which were originally released in 1996, 1997, and 1998, respectively, as well as remixed music.
The remixed music includes 30 stage and boss tracks from each game. There is also a sound player, as well as a setting to customize each stage’s music. Participating artists include Soshi Hosoi, Kazushi Turukubo, and Yuki Arai.
Additionally, the game features wallpaper customization, an arcade-style CRT filter, and a tate (vertical) mode for rotated monitors.
