Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket expansion ‘Mega Rising’ launches October 30

Due out alongside free update.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket expansion “Mega Rising” will launch on October 30 alongside a free update, The Pokemon Company announced. The game has also surpassed 150 million downloads.

The description reads: “Mega Rising marks the debut of a new series in Pokemon TCG Pocket and the introduction of Mega-Evolved Pokemon to the app. Players will be able to expand their card collection and discover the might of Mega Evolution Pokemon ex by opening three booster packs: Mega Rising: Mega Gyarados, Mega Rising: Mega Blaziken, and Mega Rising: Mega Altaria.”

The free update introduce the following features:

New Share Feature – Players can give and receive one ♦–♦♦♦♦ rarity card to friends per day, including cards from the latest expansion.
Expanded Range of Tradable Cards – Players will soon be able to trade cards from the latest expansions and booster packs. In addition to ♦–♦♦♦♦ and ★ rarity cards, ★★ and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards will be eligible for trading.
Improved Wonder Pick Feature – Unobtained cards from the latest expansion will appear more often in the wonder pick feature. In addition, the number of cards players currently own will be displayed on each card in Wonder Pick.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is available now for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play.
