CARTAGRA: The Sickness of Possessory and Crazy for Switch launches December 25 [Update: Delayed to February 5, 2026]
Playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
The Switch version of the Innocent Grey-developed Japanese-style psycho-mystery visual novel remake CARTAGRA: The Sickness of Possessory and Crazy will launch on December 25, publisher PROTOTYPE announced. It will support English, Japanese, and Chinese language options.
Update 11/13/25 at 1:15 a.m.: PROTOTYPE has delayed CARTAGRA: The Sickness of Possessory and Crazy from its previously planned December 25, 2025 release date to February 5, 2026 due to “various circumstances.”
In Japan, the game will be available digitally for 6,800 yen, or physically in 7,920 standard and 13,200 yen limited editions. The limited edition includes an A5-size acrylic panel, a set of eight clear cards, and a B5-size original after-story and art book.
The Switch version is based on the PC remake, which launched on April 28, 2023 in Japan under the name CARTAGRA: The Sickness of Possessory and Crazy – REBIRH FHD SIZE EDITION. Like the PC version, the Switch version will be fully voiced and feature both the main story and “Sacrament” after-story. It will also support touchscreen controls and Right Joy-Con-only play.
CARTAGRA: The Sickness of Possessory and Crazy for Switch will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which will run from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, where PROTOTYPE also plans to announce a new Switch title. Visit the company’s Tokyo Game Show 2025 website here.
