Seed Lab has delayed life simulation game Starsand Island from its previously planned winter 2025 release window to spring 2026. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. A Switch version was previously announced, but was not included as part of the spring 2026 release window.
Here is an overview of the game, via Seed Lab:
Live aboard a customizable houseboat—not just farming! Break free from land limits, decorate your unique floating home, and enjoy a soothing life sparkling on the waves. Adorable outfits are here! Dress up your character and animal companions anytime—become the coolest islander around. Discover secret aquarium worlds! Build your dream fish tank, collect colorful marine life, and create an enchanting underwater universe.
A brand-new family-friendly mini-game is now available—team up with neighbors and friends for double the fun! Upgraded farm automation lets you sit back and relax, giving you more time to explore and socialize.
The dev team says: “This game is a fairy-tale utopia made for young at heart.” From Eastern aesthetics to deep do-it-yourself freedom, we hope everyone finds their own warmth and happiness here.
Let’s set sail together soon—get ready to begin your very own pastoral fairy-tale adventure, made for young at heart!
