Indian developer BornMonkie has announced Dodo Duckie!, a 2D and 3D perspective-swapping puzzle platformer coming to PC via Steam in 2026.
“Imagine Fez met Super Paper Mario—that’s Dodo Duckie,” said BornMonkie co-founder and game producer Samveda in a press release. “It’s cozy and delightfully goofy, with a duck that has main-character energy!”

About
As Dodo the Duck, you spent most of your life on a placid farm—surrounded by friendly chickens and sheltered from danger. That changes when, one day, you wake up to aliens abducting all of your friends! With no one else in sight, it’s up to you to step out of the farm and rescue chicken buddies!
Embark on a unique adventure, as you travel through a cozy world to rescue your friends from their alien captors. Leverage traditional 2D puzzle platformer mechanics to explore, collect coins, and navigate the world. Then, unlock special abilities that allow you to flip the levels on their head—quite literally—and reveal an entirely new perspective. Story
Play as Dodo, a duckling raised alongside 99 chickens by an old grandma on a quaint farm. One sunny day, a mysterious UFO appears and abducts all the chickens, leaving Dodo alone. Determined to rescue the chickens, Dodo follows the UFO through a portal, leading to a glitched dimension.

Characters
- Dodo – Raised by chickens and dreaming of belonging, Dodo’s world flips…literally!! When a UFO abducts its Chicken family. Chase through dimensional glitches, swap between 2D and 3D, and waddling its way through a heartwarming quest because even ducks deserve a happy ending.
- Capie – The chillest capybara with the coolest caps. A laid-back merchant from a world of ancient tech and headwear obsession, Capie runs a quirky cap shop. When Dodo stumbles into a glitched dimension, Capie gifts the Dimensional Dual Switcher—a magical hat that lets Dodo switch between 2D and 3D.
