Publisher Bandai Namco and developer TYPE-MOON studio BB have delayed Fate/EXTRA full remake Fate/EXTRA Record from its previously announced 2025 release window to spring 2026 for further quality improvements. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
In a Twitter post, TYPE-MOON studio BB director Kazuya Nino added, “I’m truly sorry to keep you all waiting. This is my first time developing a fully voiced game—including even the background characters—so I completely misjudged the schedule. I didn’t know it would take so long… To make up for it, I think we’re making a game that’s both immersive and gratifying. Please bear with us for just a bit longer!”
