PS5 price increase announced for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand

Disc drive price will also be reduced.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a pricing increase for PlayStation 5 consoles in select markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as a pricing decrease for the PlayStation 5 disc drive. The move is in response to “challenging economic environment, including high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates.”

The new recommended retail pricings are as follows:
