Lovely Planet series developer quicktequila has announced TAMASHIKA, a fast-paced arcade-style first-person shooter coming to PC via Steam in 2025.

About
The game is about keeping your mind at one place.
Patterns in sensate experience reinforce an illusion of continuity. The dream is a construction of the mind that perpetuates the illusion.
The cartesian prison is a hall of mirrors, a recursive labyrinth. Each a reflection of me—only patterns and processes.
The present moment is the only thing that is real—focus. Chaotic attractors are seizing your attention. Don’t push or pull at it.
You have to reduce model complexity, you must cultivate flow. The game is about keeping your mind at one place!
Concentrate… and remember… Attention is all you need.

TAMASHIKA is a fast-paced arcade-style corridor shooter with hand drawn animations, precision sound effects and upbeat background music
You get:
- One Weapon – A semi-automatic pistol
- One Side-Arm – A tanto blade
- One Level – Procedurally generated, layout changes every day
- One Achievement – One hidden.
- Actions – Walk, strafe, shoot, reload, melee, parry, blink (teleport), and astral projection.
There are no checkpoints, no unlocks, and no cutscenes. (The game does not include these features!)
The developer predicts this game could be described as difficult and repetitive.
Total playtime is approximately 10 minutes (start to end, no restarts—pending playtesting).
