Fera: The Sundered Tribes launches in Early Access for PC on September 17

Monster hunting action RPG Fera: The Sundered Tribes will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 17 for $29.99, developer Massive Damage announced. A full release will follow across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2025.

“While it’s daunting for us as an indie studio to take on a game genre inhabited by behemoth studios with massive budgets, we’re thrilled to see our TikTok videos going viral and flooded by players excited by the concept of ‘monster hunting with wingsuits’ and eager to get their hands on Fera,” said Massive Damage CEO and founder Ken Seto in a press release.

Fera: The Sundered Tribes has garnered a following on social channels where creators enjoy sharing clips of players soaring over the vibrant and vast landscapes in search of behemoths to battle. This 3D action RPG mixes elements of hunting and harvesting immense beasts, agile aerial combat, co-op gameplay, village building, and tribe leadership, resulting in a thrilling post-apocalyptic fantasy. Players glide and grapple through the sweeping vistas and towering landscapes battling colossal creatures to protect and provide for their fledgling colony and its inhabitants.

The Early Access release will feature:

• A huge open world with towering and expansive landscapes to explore.
• Cooperative combat for up to four players.
• Over 10 monster species to hunt.
• Four distinct Weapons classes with dozens of different weapons and armor to craft.
• Village building and tribe management.
• Stunning world design and art direction.

Additional monsters, classes, and features will be released throughout Early Access, with the full 1.0 launch slated for sometime in 2025.
