City Connection has announced P-47 II MD, the unreleased Mega Drive version of the side-scrolling shoot ’em up game P47: The Phantom Fighter.
P-47: The Phantom Fighter was originally developed by NMK and released by Jaleco in May 1988, and was ported to various platforms following its arcade release. A Mega Drive version was also in development, but never released.
City Connection’s release of the Mega Drive version will feature a main visual illustrated by Tankro Kato, who has previously done illustrations for the box arts of aircraft model kit company Hasegawa.
