Bandai Namco trademarks Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree in Europe [Update: Rated in Korea]
Company historically trademarks new game titles ahead of their announcements.
Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a trademark for “Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree” on January 22 in Europe.
While the company has yet to officially announce a game with that title, it historically trademarks new game titles ahead of their announcements.
Bandai Namco Entertainment filed two other trademarks that have yet to materialize as game titles in September 2023—“Fractured Daydream” and “Shadow Labyrinth.” Both were filed alongside “Operation Memories,” which was later announced to be SPYxANYA: Operation Memories.
Other Bandai Namco titles previously trademarked before their reveal include “Sparking! Zero” (Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!), “Rhythm Connect” (Taiko no Tatsujin RHYTHM CONNECT), “Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn,” and “We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie.”
Update 04/17/25 at 1:15 a.m.: The still-unannounced Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree was rated in South Korea on March 21. The title, published by Bandai Namco, is described as “an action adventure game about a priestess and her companions fighting against a threat to their world.”
