Ratata Arts and TVT have announced Ratatan, a new rhythm action game from the creator of Patapon previously teased as Project JabberWocky.
The company will launch a Kickstarter campaign for Ratatan on July 31 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET.
Platforms, a release date, and additional details were not announced, but more information is planned to be revealed ahead of the Kickstarter campaign, on July 29.
The project’s staff includes director Hiroyuki Kotani (Patapon game designer); producer Kazuto Sakajiri (The Eye of Judgment); and composer Kenmei Adachi (Patapon, LocoRoco, Gran Turismo).
Ratatan was announced during a stage event at BitSummit Let’s Go!!, which is being held in Kyoto through the weekend. When asked if the game will feature multiplayer, Sakajiri noted that TVT’s motto is “Let’s Play More, Together,” so to use your imagination on that one.
