Gate of Nightmares to end service on November 30

Square Enix fantasy RPG to shut down after just over a year of service.

Square Enix will end service for Gate of Nightmares, its October 26, 2021-released fantasy RPG developed in collaboration with Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima, on November 30 at 15:00 JST, the company announced.

Chapter 6 of the story will be released in late September, followed by Chapter 7 in early November, bringing protagonist Azel’s adventure to an end.

Starting in mid-September, Square Enix will also rerun some of the game’s previous events, as well as revive past gacha.

Gate of Nightmares is available for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play in Japan.
