Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games will host a closed alpha test for free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus from May 19 to 27, the companies announced. It will be playable across all platforms with full cross-play support and dedicated server-based rollback netcode enabled.
The invite-only test will allow players to experience the latest MultiVersus content, including the team-based two-versus-two mode and a variety of heroes and personalities, from Batman to Shaggy (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes), Arya Stark (Game of Thrones), and more. Registration is available now via the official website. A FAQ is also available.
A new video was also released showcasing game director Tony Huynh and principal developer Daniel Kraft going head-to-head against professional fighting game community players Tyrell “NAKAT” Coleman and James “VoiD” Makekau-Tyson in a best of three series two-versus-two matches. It also showcases the “Scooby’s Haunted Mansion” map, which will be available during the closed alpha test.
