Chorus Worldwide titles to be available in "collectible, high-quality, physical versions."Serenity Forge has entered into a partnership with Coffee Talk and Yuoni publisher Chorus Worldwide to distribute its games at retail in North America and Europe, the company announced.
Serenity Forge will distribute a selection of Chorus Worldwide titles, to-be-announced, in “collectible, high-quality, physical versions.”
Previous titles published by Serenity Forge at retail include Absolute Drift: Zen Edition, Death’s Gambit: Afterlife, Cyanide & Happiness – Freakpocalypse Episode 1: Hall Pass To Hell, and Doki Doki Literature Club, the latter of which has sold over 500,000 copies.
“Chorus Worldwide has an amazing catalog of titles that perfectly meshes with the vision of Serenity Forge to bring to market meaningful games that challenge the way people think,” said Serenity Forge founder and CEO Zhenghua Yang in a press release. “Bringing these games to traditional retailers allows them to reach an entirely new market that might not necessarily be tapped into the digital gaming space. The retail space has typically been dominated by AAA titles, but Serenity Forge is passionate about diversifying this space with games that might not have had the chance to reach these audiences before.”
Chorus Worldwide founder and CEO Shintaro Kanaoya added, “Serenity Forge has a proven track record of bringing indie games to market in a strategic and unique way, making sure that their physical versions really add something worthwhile for fans to own and enjoy. We can’t wait to work with the team to bring our unique, one-of-a-kind games to the retail market in North America and Europe.”
