Pubishers Akupara Games and Akatsuki Taiwan, and developer Silver Lining Studio will release interactive fiction game Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery for PlayStation 4 and Switch in spring 2022, the companies announced.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery first launched for PC and Mac via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io, and Game Jolt, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play on August 25.
“When bringing Behind the Frame to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation, we wanted to make sure we used all of our tools to create the sensation of painting on a canvas,” said Akupara Games technical producer Dean Razavi in a press release. “So on PlayStation, you’ll be able to use your finger on the DualShock controller’s touchpad to paint, giving you that fine-grain control. On the Nintendo Switch, in addition to touch screen support, you can flick your Joy-Con around in docked mode just like you would a paintbrush. Just point it at the screen, and your hand motions will be translated to paint strokes!”
Here is an overview of the game, via its store pages:
