ATRI: My Dear Moments
About
A new visual novel game co-produced by The Fruit of Grisaia creators Frontwing and Makura, written by If My Heart Had Wings‘s Asuta Konno.
Story
In the near future, a sudden and unexplained sea rise has left much of human civilization underwater. Ikaruga Natsuki, a boy who lost his mother and his leg in an accident some years earlier, returns disillusioned from a harsh life in the big city to find his old countryside home half-swallowed by the sea.
Left without a family, all he has to his name is the ship and submarine left to him by his oceanologist grandmother, and her debts.
His only hope to restore the dreams for the future that he has lost is to take up an opportunity presented to him by the suspicious debt collector Catherine. They set sail to search the sunken ruins of his grandmother’s laboratory in order to find a treasure rumor says she left there.
But what they find is not riches or jewels; it is a strange girl lying asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea.
Atri.
Atri is a robot, but her appearance and her wealth of emotions would fool anyone into think she’s a living, breathing human being. In gratitude for being salvaged, she makes a declaration to Natsuki.
“I want to fulfill my master’s final order. Until I do, I’ll be your leg!”
In a little town slowly being enveloped by the ocean, an unforgettable summer is about to begin for this boy and this mysterious robot girl…
Characters
- Ikaruga Natsuki – 17 years-old (jigh school, second year). A former student of The Academy, an advanced school in the big city for only the brightest of students. After being forced out, he finds himself living back in the tiny coastal town his grandmother called home. Having lost his mother and his leg at a young age in an accident, he finds himself stricken with terror when forced into dark, silent spaces. In order to obtain the money for an advanced cybernetic leg, he buys into a plan to salvage a hidden treasure from his grandmother’s sunken storehouse.
- Atri (voiced by Hikari Akao) – ? years-old. A robot girl salvaged from the bottom of the ocean by Natsuki. Despite being a robot, her appearance and her ability to express emotion makes her near-indistinguishable from a normal human being. It seems like she served as Natsuki’s grandmother’s assistant in the past, but she has almost no memory of the time before her long sleep beneath the sea. She asks Natsuki for help restoring her lost memories, such that she can fulfill her former master’s last order. Extremely curious and eager to learn, she prides herself on being ‘high-performance.’
- Kamishiro Minamo (voiced by Minami Takahashi) – 16 years-old (high school, first year). A childhood friend of Natsuki, who he met when he came to stay with his grandmother after the accident. A cheerful girl who has never been out of the countryside.
Honest to a fault, she’s the kind of person who could never do a bad thing willingly. She often finds herself looking after Natsuki.- Nojima Ryuuji (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya) – 18 years-old (high school, third year). A strong and hardy local boy. He’s the type who prefers to solve problems with brawn over brains. The son of a local construction firm, the family workshop has unfortunately long been swallowed by the waves. Though he helps out with the work his family still performs, he longs for independence. Straight-talking and reliable, the children of the town view him as their leader.
- Catherine (voiced by Yoko Hikasa) – ? years-old. A mysterious, self-proclaimed ‘debt collector’ who presents Natsuki with a plan to pay off his debts by salvaging his grandmother’s sunken treasures. Natsuki has no idea who she is, but he suspects ‘Catherine’ is not her real name. Seems like a beautiful, enigmatic woman… Until she opens her mouth.
- Nanami Ririka (voiced by Anzu Haruno) – 10 years-old (elementary school, fifth year). A little orphan girl who lives at the school. Lively and tomboyish, she goes about everything at full speed. A little sister figure to Minamo who causes her all kinds of problems. Her first impressions of Natsuki are less postive, however; she calls him the ‘Hitman’ because of how scary she finds him.

Adabana Odd Tales
About
A visual novel brought to you by Liar-soft, the makers of Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning and Kindred Spirits on the Roof.
Story
A girl finds herself in a dark and unfamiliar forest when a monster appears out of nowhere and attacks. A mysterious boy, wielding a brush as if it were a sword, appears just in time to cut down the monster.
He calls himself Kurofude, and he addresses the girl in a familiar tone as Shirohime. Yet she does not recognize him or the name he calls her. She has lost all of her memories.
According to Kurofude, they are in the land of Adabana, a realm of illustrated books. Their tales are like dreams; no matter how deeply one immerses oneself in them, once one wakes up, they are gone. Thus the name Adabana—a name given to flowers that will never bear fruit. Their duty is to travel through story realms and look for signs of distortions in the tales.
Shirohime, a girl with seemingly all the agency of a doll, accepts this explanation and opens a book handed to her. The title: Hanasaka Jiisan. As she opens the dilapidated illustrated book with its pages riddled with worm-eaten holes, the pages glow brightly and whisk the girl and boy away to a fairy tale realm…
Characters
- Kurofude (voiced by Wataru Katoh) – A boy clad in black. He bears the duty of traveling through storybook realms and correcting distortions as he finds them, a task he used to do with Shirohime. He uses the brush he keeps in his brush case to restore lost text to illustrated books. He also occasionally uses his brush like a sword to cut down enemies. Calm and collected, nothing can faze him.
- Shirohime (voiced by Saki Minami) – A girl with amnesia, clad in a pure-white kimono. According to Kurofude, she used to be one of the guides correcting distorted tales before she lost her memories. She can catch the bookworms that eat an illustrated book’s words and extract the eaten words in the form of ink. She is modest and softhearted.
- Hanasaka Jiisan (voiced by Yuuki Tamai) (from the tale “Hanasaka Jiisan”) – An old man living in a small village. A gentle, kindly old man, he was never blessed with children, but he lives a quiet life together with his good-natured wife.
- Otohime (voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara) (from the tale “Urashima Taro”) – The ruler of the Dragon Palace, a splendid palace sitting at the bottom of the sea. While she seems attractive and mysterious, she can be quite prim, and quite blunt.
- Urikohime (voiced by Natsumi Takamori) (from the tale “Urikohime to Amanojaku”) – A darling young girl living in a mountain village. She is quick-witted, and she often throws Shirohime off with her precocious, teasing remarks.
- Momotaro (voiced by Haruki Ishiya) (from the tale “Momotaro”) – A young man born from a giant peach floating down a river. As righteous as his gallant appearance would suggest, he sets out on a journey to slay the oni that are making the people’s lives miserable.
- Bookworms – Strange creatures that appear to be somewhere between goldfish and catfish. They are bibliovores, and when they eat critical portions of a book’s story, the story can no longer progress. Shirohime turns them to ink by touching them, and Kurofude returns the ink to the pages, thus restoring the illustrated books’ original forms.
