Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles free update #1 launches in late October / early November

Akaza and Rui get a release window.

The first free post-launch update for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles will launch in late October to early November, publisher Aniplex and developer CyberConnect2 announced in the latest issue of Weekly Jump.

As previously announced, the first free update adds playable characters Akaza and Rui. A second update will add another two playable demon characters, followed by a third update with two more playable demon characters.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles launched today for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in Japan, and is due out on October 15 worldwide.
