Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III coming to Switch

PC Engine reprints also planned.

Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III

Edia will release Switch versions of side-scrolling action games Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III, as well as launch a crowdfunding campaign for the development of these ports on the website Makuake, the company announced.

Only one Valis title is currently available on Switch—Super Valis IV—which was released via the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online app for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan back in in December 2020.

Outside of the Switch ports, Edia also announced it will reprint the PC Engine versions of Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III in commemoration of the Valis series’ 35th anniversary.
