Match-three puzzle game Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will end service on April 12 in the west and May 10 in Japan, publishers PiG Corporation and ForwardWorks announced (2).

The Japanese version of the game will be updated with its final story chapter and puzzle stage on February 19.

Toro and Friends: Onsen Town first launched for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play in October 2019 in Japan, followed by June 2020 worldwide.

Hello, Tourist Ambassadors.

First of all, we would like to apologize about suddenly delivering sad news. Our team wished to provide a positive experience for our players for a longer period of time, but after difficult discussions, we have decided we can no longer provide consistent updates and maintain Toro and Friends: Onsen Town. We have decided to terminate service for Toro and Friends: Onsen Town on April 12, 2021.

We are sorry to tell you such bad news of the game closing service all of a sudden. For the schedule of Toro and Friends: Onsen Town‘s service closure, please refer to the information below.

Toro and Friends: Onsen Town Service Closure Notice

  • After February 10, 2021 Maintenance
    • All in-game purchases will become unavailable.
    • Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will no longer be available for download.
  • After April 12, 2021 Maintenance
    • Toro and Friends: Onsen Town town game service will be permanently unavailable.
    • Official Facebook page for Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will begin shutdown process (expected closure on May 10, 2021).
      • As of April 12, 2021, you will no longer be able to use the official Facebook page for Toro and Friends: Onsen Town (posting or commenting will be limited).
      • If you need to preserve any information on the official Facebook page, please make sure to save any necessary information before our Facebook page closes down.

Although Toro and Friends: Onsen Town will no longer be available for play, we hope that we have provided all our tourist ambassadors with great memories and a fun experience.
