SNK is working on an internal rollback netcode solution for upcoming fighting game sequel The King of Fighters XV, producer Yasuyuki Oda said on Twitter.

“Great to see lots of passionate #SNKRollback fans!” Oda said. “You will be happy to hear that we have been working hard on an internal rollback solution for The King of Fighters XV from early in the development cycle. There is still a lot of work remaining so we can’t make any promises yet, but please be patient!”

The King of Fighters XV is due out in 2021 for unannounced platform(s).
