Grand Finals to host in-person audience.

Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2020

Cygames will host day one of the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2020 on June 4, 2021 at a studio in Tokyo, the company announced. The Grand Finals will follow on June 6 at the Saitama Super Arena.

The Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2020 was originally planned to be held this month, but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

While day one of the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2020 will only be viewable by live stream, the Grand Finals will host an in-person audience.

“To reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading, we will be asking those who choose to watch in-person to take preventative measures ahead of time,” Cygames said in a statement. “In addition, we ask for your understanding that there may be changes in the event depending on the conditions of COVID-19 within Japan and overseas.”

More information about the event will be announced at a later date.
