Natsume and YummyYummyTummy announce ConnecTank for consoles

New game from Fallen Legion developer due out in 2021.

Publisher Natsume and Fallen Legion developer YummyYummyTummy have announced ConnecTank, a new title coming to “all consoles” in 2021.

“I’ve been fortunate to know Mr. Maekawa and the Natsume team for years and have always admired their commitment to creating games families can enjoy together,” said YummyYummyTummy director Spencer Yip in a press release. “We’re honored to join their family of indie developers with ConnecTank and can’t wait to introduce Finneas Fat Cat XV to the world.”

Natsume CEO Hiro Maekawa added, “We have had a great relationship with Spencer and his team for years and are happy to finally get to work together on a project. YummyYummyTummy’s dedication to building the indie game community and their experience working on successful family-friendly games across genres makes them a perfect partner for Natsume. We are honored to welcome them and ConnecTank to the Natsume Indie Program.”

And, breaking the fourth wall, ConnecTank character Finneas Fat Cat XV chimed in, “Pardon me, old bean, I’m Finneas Fat Cat the Fifteenth, owner of Fat Cat Shipping Incorporated. We’re the largest overland shipping company in New Pangea and own a fleet of big honking tanks to defend it. We’re recruiting gamers to drive ConnecTanks to deliver goods to customers and greenbacks into my paws.”

More information on ConnecTank will be announced in the coming months.
